It's too bad that IYP and pf3 can't feed off of each other. I'd love to use pf3
in mode 3 along with IYP, however that seems to brake according to what I'm
hearing in the group and list. Also i wonder why the runways are not matching
up, unless the air ports changed in reality and one of the softwares are not up
to date.

Jordan,
I think that IYP’s awareness of what airport facilities are available differs
somewhat from PFE’s. I’m not sure what is behind this, but it’s just a thing
I’ve noticed too. If you do manage to get things working like in that vide,
do let us know.
Best,
Zack.

I have noticed a couple of interesting things today in regards to ProFlight
and IYP. I noticed that PF3 will pop up a window outside of the simulator
with all the frequencies for your departure airport. This is nice
especially when you are flying out of an unfamiliar airport and you have no
clue what the frequencies are. I can also say that with PF3, AirNav.com can
be your friend as well when needing to look up frequencies and all other
airport information. Interestingly, today, IYP actually told me to request
IFR, Taxi, and take off clearances with ProFlight unlike the few other times
where it just went straight to set transponder code and then it would tell
me to announce taxi and take off clearances. So, I am getting somewhere for
sure. The only real complaint I have with PF3 is that the co-pilot does not
say anything when you change co-pilot modes. It just shows a message on
screen of what mode you switched to. I wonder if there is a way to get PF3
to work the way it does with IYP as shown in the video on YouTube. That is
next for me to figure out if it is possible to do.
