So in short.
Did I panic?
So even though she said that she wasn’t controling the speed.
If fact was she?
Will wait to see the new flight deck booklet.
Also, in the flight deck in the same neighborhood where you’re describing the
forumla for a leveled cruising ALT, the link doesn’t work.
Thanks.

Ron,

As Hadi indicated, when Michelle says she is no longer controlling the
airspeed, that does not mean Michelle set the airspeed to zero. Rather, it
means precisely what it says. Michelle is no longer altering the settings...
the IAS remains at 240 knots where it was until the approach checklist is
executed, at which time Michelle again controls the airspeed.

As I stated numerous times, the Flight Deck Doc is in the final stages of clean
up by Helen, and will contain a section that will explain all of this in
excruciating detail... not that anyone will read it. <SMILES>

Why did you crash? were you descending too quick?
if it was a jet, michel brings down the indicated airspeed to 240 (very
good) on descend checklist

    Hi Robert.
I was 25 miles out and Michele stated that she was no longer in control of
the air speed.
I tried the command to control the air speed but we crashed at 18 miles out
anyways.
    Thought you had that fix.
    Thanks.
