I'm also very confused about this, although this sounds good in theory in
practice it really does not. Can you provide a detailed use can as to when
this would be useful and how the procedure would be laid out?

I understood what you were explaining.... I simply didn't understand the
need. Why would you be asking your First Officer to dictate and ship a
letter? Isn't she too busy flying the aircraft? It would seem to me that
