I can confirm at this time that IYP is definitely an hour behind where it
should be because I just checked and my depature airport, KPEQ, is in Central
time, and the time I get from IYP is Mountain Time. I think I know what the
problem is. IYP probably is not taking into account daylight savings time
because when we go off it, IYP seems to be correct.

Control Shift E is how it is setup by default I think. At least this way you
get an alternate airport that is close to land at. Two more flights to go and
then I can get back to video recording.

How did you select the emergency feature in PF3 ATC?
Did you just have always prompt for alternate airport checked?
I’ve tried writing to steam and I’ve tried writing to Dovetail Games, and you
name it dealing with FSX on face book I’ve written the following suggestion.
I’d like to hear out of my headset the following voice message:
You don’t need a pushback or pushback not required, or pushback to one hundred
feet and turn to the right or tail to the right.
Or anything like that.
then when we come to the point when our AI of or is it AI CP, asks us, do we
need a pushback, we then would have all of the info at our fingertips.
I think it would make flying more realistic.
What does everyone else think?

Begin each session using Zulu Time will get you going with The time
automatically being set to Zulu time. This might not be working correctly
though since I had a flight the other day have me in Mountain Time when I
should have been in Central Time. It is nice however to have it be night and
day etc around the correct times.

You can have IYP do it for you at the beginning of each flight by saying
Begin Each Session Using Zulu Time. This is especially nice when doing flights
with multiple legs and if I layover somewhere and leave things running, the
time should be correct.

Hello to all.
I know at the main screen of FSX if you do a alt n you’ll get the time to
make sure the time is set correctly.
Even though I make sure the time is set correctly, When I get to the Run
clock command at the end of the before take off checklist, no matter what I do,
instead of having the time set correctly on East Coast Time zone, it sets
itself to the Central time zone, which means it is a hour behind what it should
be set at.
Any way of fixing this annoying issue?
