Declan,
You want to follow heading changes they give you. Ideally, what you’d have
would be a list of waypoints or air routes to follow, which you could use to
fly to each one in sequence. That’s how ATC would expect you to fly the route,
rather than flying direct. The exception, of course, is if you choose to fly
direct when you create your flight plan.
FSX Pilot has commands to fly along air routes in the Airac database, which is
one of the features i requested for PilotEdge.
