What I could suggest would be looking at something like the ActiveSky
Weather Companion app, which shows you a flight weather briefing with
approximate waypoint altitudes calculated for you. It's labeled as "AS16
WX Web Companion" on your desktop, and works when AS16 and your
simulator are loaded, with a flightplan loaded into the sim.

I think that part of the problem is that flight plans are designed to be edited
before use. They don't include proper altitude instructions, for instants, so
it is likely that you would need to handle that yourself. Flight plans are
really intended for automatic flying, and The import function is good for
getting a list of way points, but won't handle the finer points.

I just used FSX pilot for a flight to Portugal, I'd imported an FSX flight plan
and everything was looking good. We were cruising at 32,000 feet but as we got
closer to the airport it didn't descend, it waited right up until we got to the
last waypoint which was around 10 miles away from the airport and then
descended from 32,000 feet, but obviously you have to get down very fast so it
descended very fast at a rate of 12,000 ft./m which caused the aircraft to over
speed. We then levelled off and landed but surely it shouldn't just plunge like
that when we're so close to the airportBlind and Visually impaired Pilots
