Hoping Robert can elaborate a bit because I don’t recall ever having that issue
of the autopilot disconnecting during the Approach checklist. Going to try the
flight again tomorrow night or when I get some free time tomorrow. Now that I
have discovered that I was not using the correct commands for some parts of
RC4, I am kind of thinking that it was me turning something on or off that I
did not know about.

Jordan,
I believe this is expected behavior in the CRJ, or at least something to do
with that particular aircraft. Perhaps Robert can elaborate, but I heard the
autopilot turn off in one of Orin’s streams the other day too, I believe.
Best,
Zack.

When I was just doing a flight from KEDW to KFLG in a CRJ 700, something odd
happened, and this happened last night as well. Michelle is turning off the
autopilot while doing the Approach checklist. I have Auto landing on as far as
I know, and I am wondering if I did something to change something in the IYP
settings to cause this odd behavior. I can definitely say that I don’t think
something with RC4 is causing this because the flight I did a few nights ago in
a B17 from CA90 to KEDW went fine.
Thanks,
