What I found is that you are able to explore all the menus with object
nav. However, if the particular option you want isn't in the active
menu, it won't work.
So, if I want something in the flights menu, I need to press alt+f to
activate that menu first. If the flights menu is active, I can't do
anything in the options menu until I change menus.

I don’t remember the shortcuts to change it manually I’m afraid. My
advice
is honestly to get NVDA and begin exploring the menus that way.
