Ah, hold on. If she says do we wish to conduct fuel loading operations, is that the point at which she does the calculation? I was cruising along at Flight level 350. Feet up, looking forward to all that sunshine in Singapore. Then, oh dear. Rattle joystick, flight over. All factors the same except for weather since my weather is set to real world with updates, I redid the flight as noted in my other post with the fuel truck being called. Everything went normally. I really wish I knew why but it seems like this is the only aircraft that fuel calculations aren't accurate. I would suggest asking for the fuel quantity before Michelle gets to asking if you need the fuel truck and go from there. What was your altitude you were climbing through or at I may have missed it. I have had the 747 fall out of the sky because of being overweight because of fuel quite a bit, and I will be doing a flight from Baltimore to Grand Rapids later. This will confirm or not confirm my suspicions because I will try it without calling the fuel truck., and if I crash well then there we go. If I don't crash, more work needs to be done with both of our last flights. How did you determine that it was too much fuel which caused your plane to crash? Sounds like too much fuel, which is exactly what I had happen climbing through Fl310. I stuck around trying to pull out of the stall I ended up in, but nope eventually boom. I was so pissed off when the thing started to crash, when I got to about 5 thousand feet, I ended the flight, or bailed out, I wasn't going to wait for the boom. There are 2 sets of logs IYP creates, by default voice transcription, then the ACARS log if you enable ACARS at the beginning of the flight. If I'd stuck around for the boom, I could have taken a look at the ACARS log, maybe. Air accident investigators seem to think it might have been flying too high with too much fuel, then either a strong tailwind or headwind. I'll attempt the flight again. Before exiting out of fsx they give you the opton of exiting the current flight, continue to fly, and or to lok at the log. Also, for we who fly via IYP. If you go to your C drive then it's programs something with win 7, then to ms games, then to ms flight simulator. You'll see the IYP I belive its IYP Logs. If you go in there, you'll see your black box report by date and time. Just click on the one you want to read up on. Besides that, I wouldn't be able to advise you. Did you check the fuel tanks? SMILES. Here's to the NTSB National Transpertaion safety board to the rescue. Sorry. Hi guys I Posted this on the forum and haven't a clue why this might have happened. Here's hoping that the mystery is resolved. Whilst flying to Singapore from Heathrow last night, my 747 simply fell out of the sky over Germany. Luckily, I managed to survive. It quite literally fell to earth, no warning, nothing I could do about it. I've looked at the voice log, no clues there. Is there anywhere else I could look to determine what might have gone wrong T Ron and current Leader Dog boz who states "that a service dog beats a cane hands down any day of the week."
