From what time are the team going to work on the cold flow preparation in
EPIC? I have no skills whatsoever but I am willing to get involved and
learn. Will I be a burden by being there?

Thanks,

Some notes from tonight's meeting:

For the cold flow, we have a lot of work we need to complete. Some of the
projects include:
-Bulkhead machining
-Welding and assembling tank stand
-Cleaning tanks and tubes before assembly (and then assembling the tanks)
-Bending/flaring/assembling tubes and fittings
-Testing instrumentation
-DRY RUNS! YAY!
All of this needs to be done for* Wednesday*. There is a lot of work to
do and we need all the hands we can get in the lab. Best way to get
involved with this stuff is to hang out in the lab. People will be coming
and going working at EPIC and in the lab on these action items. Since this
work just flows along, don't expect to get email updates about things that
need to be done. Basically, being present in the lab is a necessity to
becoming a key member for test prep.

GE visit is Friday. Signups for the visit are due tonight by midnight on
this link:

For more information on the visit, see the attached Power Point from
tonight's meeting. Depending on the number of people going, we may combine
forces with another BU group for transport. Keep in mind, we are testing
Saturday so if you see yourself as a member critical to the prep work, the
GE visit might interfere with that. If you do decide to go, you should be
back by 3 pm. There will still be plenty of work to do when you get back.
Also, if you want to go to the GE visit and have a car we will reimburse
your gas if you drive people there.

For the cold flow, please sign up using the link below. Those who help the
most with prep for the test get priority for attendance.

Safety briefings will be held Wednesday and Thursday at 8pm. These are
required to attend the cold flow test this weekend or any other test this
year. If you have legitimate reason to not be able to attend these
meetings, LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME. Otherwise you are just out of luck.

Going along with all of the prep in the lab, there are some new rules to
keep the lab neat, safe, and productive. These rules were covered tonight
in the meeting, and can also be found on the drive. They are in the power
point as well.

Another reminder: Space Vision is coming up. Sign up on their website.
Dean is in charge of Space Vision and can answer any questions you may have.
