Hello Everyone,
Monday we will have our usual meeting. This one is just going to be a
pre-winter-break wrap up sort of deal, but we have some important things to
discuss. One of them is a funding opportunity provided by Space Grant, for
which we need everyone to fill out a short form. The form is on the
#space-grant channel of Slack. Please download it from there.
Space Grant provides funding for projects to specific people, but they
would really like to support BURPG. Because of this, they would like to
provide block funding based on the number of members we have and their
projects. I would like all of you to review the form and fill it out, but
prepare any questions you may have on your responses to it for Monday so we
can discuss it at the meeting. For the project you are working on, make it
one of the specific components or systems you were involved with for BURPG.
Don't worry if this seems a little confusing- I want you guys to be
prepared to ask questions about how this works at the meeting on Monday
since I am sure there will be more than one person with the same question.
Following the meeting on Monday, please use Slack for any questions. What
to do with the forms once complete will also be on the Slack channel.
