My point exactly!

It seems this was a cheeky one-up for the
restraint-torn-but-at-heart-outrageously gay Freddie. “Radio Ga Ga” penned
by Roger Taylor? Hmmm… In part, probably yes. But the melody is pure
Freddie; it must have been collaborative effort if anything. At the time
Radio Ga Ga was released the only connection between it and Time’s “Can’t
You Feel It” was that the latter may have been an underground gay club
favourite frequented (and perhaps even provided) by Freddie.

In retrospect and with the benefit of easily accessible information in the
current day, it seems fairly easy to draw a comparison between the two
tracks to an extent worthy of investigation into the credibility of
Mercury’s song-writing prowess. We know the guy is a musical genius and one
of the forerunners for greatest vocalist of all time, so he had no need to
do this. And it is just that “I don’t need to do this, but I will do it
anyway” je ne sais quoi that makes Radio Gaga all the more cheeky and sweet
from Queen’s legendary front man.

Touché Mister Mercury.

Vote Yes Stupid Motherfuckers. Oh and politicians do your fucking job and
stop asking us for our opinions as a distraction to you feathering your own
nests you self-serving toffee nosed twats. Sometimes I don’t like the
Westminster system, so stuffy.

Have a good evening bumbags.

It just occurred to me that Radio Ga Ga came out in 1984, two years after
this song, and yet there seems to be no discussion/controversy around
similarities that I can find.

I did however find a pumpin' remix:

Change of tack. An (already posted) classic. The riffs and licks punctuated
by the fluid drum work and tempo changes are sublime.
