Hey Ryan,I wouldn't mind doing the same thing again next year, but there seems to be some members who are much more active than me; I wouldn't mind if one of them becomes VP either. Hope your install party went well (I didn't have a computer available for an Ubuntu install).
Good luck with your finals. -Jimmy C. Chau <jchau@xxxxxx>P.S. The Slug is great (but it doesn't support Ubuntu yet). Might be able to give a presentation about creating a new sub-$60 Linux-based computer at the next meeting.

Thanks for coming out to the install party guys - if you didn't get a chance to make it, the ISO files are all available at http://lug.bu.edu/bu/ for direct download and http://lug.bu.edu/ubuntu/ for torrent. It's getting toward the end of the semester and summer is approaching (whoo!). The LUG must be re-registered for next semester by May 1st. In order to complete the re-registration process, we need three undergrad officers. If you'd like to be a LUG officer, please send an email to rmullen at bu with a brief paragraph explaining why you'd be good at it. You MUST be an undergrad and you MUST be around next year.A certain priority will be given to existing officers. If you're not sure whether or not you should apply - there's as much responsibility as you're willing to take on. It's pretty much all voluntary stuff, so as much as you're willing to contribute is as much as is necessary. Thanks, Ryan _________BU LUG: http://lug.bu.edu.
