Hi George,
Does that include inland diving, ie Vobster etc?

Let me add my thanks to Alan and Bryan. I must admit I was worried I had
forgotten the whole lot but after the lecture and video I thought we all did
quite well on the practical and it all came flooding back. I know there are
some that feel the AED is superfluous but Alan showed some evidence that proves
that whilst it indeed might be difficult to operate on a RIB it could make a
lifesaving difference. The point that it is not possible to make a detailed
analysis of a diver’s state of health following e.g. a collapse was well made.
One just had to get on with a procedure as quickly as possible as that is the
most likely path to saving a life. Overall we are very fortunate to have Alan
in the club and that he puts so much work into this. I would like to think we
are one of the most well prepared clubs around.
One other unrelated thing. As DO I am supposed to keep statistics about club
dives. Therefore please could you send me an email telling me what dives you
have done this year. I only need site depth date and a note of any incident or
item of particular interest. The data will be held anonymously as the point is
not to track people but to asses overall club activity.
Many thanks
