forgive the blanket email, I don't have the email addresses for all those below.
To the 'eight' below who expressed an interest in the trip to the South West
I have followed up with a couple of dive centres and present to you the
following proposal for a trip to the SouthWest next april:
Sun 18th - Wed 21st April.
4nights with Porthkerris Divers in one of their on-beach log cabins.
unlimited Shore dives as you want them.
arrival Sun evening for a night dive
mon/tues boat dives
wed shore dives
Cost:
£800 total for accommodation (£100 each)
£60 per diver per day for boats
+fills +food +petrol
Depart afternoon 21st to Plymouth (In Deep Diving):
two nights accommodation, 2 days boat dives
cost: £230 pp (inc accom, boat, air fills)
+food + petrol
So, if eight still interested that's £450 per person for 4days boat diving and
as many shore dives as we can manage. Doing it this way means that it's
possible to do just one location and not the other...although Porthkerris will
be cheaper per person, the more that go...if only 6 it'll be a shade more.
Dives will be to a 35m limit, however, with 8 we have enough for the charters
to split groups if a few wanted something a little deeper on a particular day.
I still have to do some thinking on how we deal with Covid related risks in
terms of potential refunds...but one has to hope that by April we should be a
better place all round.
Given the ability of in deep to accommodate 10 onboard and Porthkerris to offer
shore dives, we probably can accept more than 8 of there's further interest.
pls let me know.....I myself will be going provided my permanent contract is
forthcoming in the next couple of weeks.

it will likely be the third week of April currently. Steve, got your interest.
Following a tip-off, I may look at switching Portland with PLymouth (In deeper)
which might knock £100 off the costs and would open up Scylla/JEL etc..

commitment just yet).
