Hey Thursday sailors!
The weather is looking craptastic tomorrow, with a chance of thunder.
Bummer of week weather-wise for us, I know, but I think it's the right call
to say* Thursday practice is cancelled*.
But wait, don't be sad! We have an alternative: you are all invited to the
CBI Summer Kickoff Party, which is from 6:30 - 9:30 tomorrow night at CBI.

Hey salty sailors!
We had an awesome week last week, with two boats at Advanced Racing in
*very* windy conditions; baseline 15 knots gusting to 25 or more
consistently. Katy Boyd learned how to reef a sail on the fly! For open
practice we had some attrition due to the weather, but we still had one
boat go out and cruise around after the rain stopped, for a pleasant
relaxing sail. Now we're ready to do it all again!
What's up with practice this week: we have Advanced Racing on Tuesday at
Courageous, and Open Practice on Thursday at Community Boating. Yes, it's
true that Community Boating is having an event on Thursday for which they
are closing early (thank you to the several sailors who reminded me!) but
Andrew says we should be able to take a couple of boats out, so we're all
set for open practice.
*If you are interested in racing on Tuesday, please let Leo and me know
and we'll work out pairings.*
*If you are coming to practice on Thursday, please RSVP by Wednesday!
