It sounds like you had a bit of fun sailing last week! I was passing the river
on my way to Canada on Tuesday, and I thought, "hey! someone's using our
audible buoys!" Then I remembered that you all were out sailing! Ha. Big thanks
to Chris and Daisy again for getting everyone out on the water, and all the
guides who came out last week.
As the sun sets earlier, our official practice season is drawing to a close.
This week is our final week of practice. But that doesn't mean you have to stop
sailing! If you are a member at CBI, you can keep doing lessons and racing
until Halloween. Also, there may be other opportunities to get on bigger boats
- if you frequent that scene and you're looking for crew, consider inviting a
blind sailor! Courageous also offers sailing lessons on the weekend. And, if
you're interested in frostbiting this winter, let me know. I'll see if I can
get you on a boat.
So, who is coming on Tuesday for Advanced Racing, and who is coming on Thursday
for our last Open Practice of 2019? Please RSVP by Wednesday!
