Good morning, I received the attached flyer /information about Leader Dogs for
the Blind summer experience for 2021 and their camp dates. You may be
interested in attending. Only Ages 16-17 to attend. It's an awesome way for
teenagers who are legally blind to do and learn as much as possible in a safe
and engaging environment. Campers ride bikes, play beep kickball, climb a rock
wall and much more. This seven-day program also helps prepare them for the next
stage of their lives by: Teaching leadership and teamwork development,
providing an introduction to working with a guide dog, training on the latest
in handheld GPS technology, discussing everyday tips and solutions with peers
who face similar challenges
Campers leave with great memories, lasting friendships and the skills and
confidence to face life head-on. For more information or to apply, visit
LeaderDog.org or call 888.777.5332.
