[Bristol-Birds] scoters in Elizabethton

Watauga River, near Elizabethton, Carter Co., TN
Surf Scoter - 1 male, on river at Sycamore Shoals St. Park, also visible from
Sycamore Shoals Dr. on the other side of the river.
White-wg. Scoter - 1 female, on river at site known locally as the "Rasor Farm",
on Lincoln Rd (go to end).
Both were found by Brookie & Jean Potter, the Surf on Thursday, the White-wg.
yesterday. There are multiple records (40+) of each in the 5-county area, but
it
is really unusual to have one of each at the same time on the same body of
water (albeit separated by a couple of miles).
