I just returned from a walk at Domtar Park along Riverport Road in Kingsport where hundreds of Cliff Swallows nest each summer. While there I took a quick look and was surprised to find at least 18 still active nests. Birds were actively carrying food to young that were visible at nest entrances. Seems a bit late for these birds to still have young in the nest. What say ye? Rick Phillips Kingsport, Tennessee
