Pete Range called me to report a Tree Swallow this morning at
Fort Henry Lake.
Shortly afterwards, I saw 2 Tree Swallows at Davis Marina on Boone Lake.
These are one day shy of tying the late date for northeast Tenn.
At noon today, I saw a N. Rough-wg. Swallow at the South Holston River weir.
Apparently this is a new late date in the state, aside from one winter record.
This has been a remarkable autumn for late dates for many species.
