[Bristol-Birds] interesting species at Hidden Valley Lake, Washington Co., TN

Sheri Hiter and John Kelly birded nearly five hours, starting early

today, Saturday 24 May 2014, in the Hidden Valley Wildlife Management

Area on Clinch Mountain, just north of US 19 in Washington Co., VA.

The area includes Hidden Valley Lake.  Among the 36 species found

on their very interesting list are:

Red-shouldered Hawk 3

Broad-winged Hawk 1

Red-tailed Hawk 1

Spotted Sandpiper 1

Eastern Wood-Pewee 1

Acadian Flycatcher 1

Least Flycatcher 1

Blue-headed Vireo 2

Common Raven 1

Veery 7

Ovenbird 2

Black-and-white Warbler 2

American Redstart 5

Magnolia Warbler 2

Black-throated Blue Warbler 16

Black-throated Green Warbler 4

Canada Warbler 2

Dark-eyed Junco 10

Scarlet Tanager 4

Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1
