An uncertain size, it makes nearby cattle look small. On 10 Mar 2012, an adult Red-tailed Hawk flew to the nest and settled down on it. The bulk of the nest and its placement at the time suggested a possible Red-tail but it also cried eagle. The nest has the deep and rounded shape of an eagle's. I am posting this as a follow up as the search for new Bald Eagle nests in the region continues. Let's go birding . . . Wallace Coffey Bristol, TN
