The second edition of The Birds of Northeast Tennessee (2008) lists just 2
over-wintering records (at a suet feeder) as the only winter records in
the 5 county area covered by the book. There were 2 or 3 winter records
last year and 1 a few years before, plus 2 more so far this winter (plus 1
in VA portion of Bristol CBC two days ago). Big change !!
