This is a nice reply from one of our Bristol Birds Net subscribers, Betty
Armbruster, who lives in New York state about 60 miles east of I-81 and
Syracuse, NY. She has been a subscriber for several years She had a daughter
living at Bluff City a year or so ago. Betty has been a birder for about 40
years. She was sending some of the Bristol Birds postings to her daughter.
She has learned where some of our birding locations are by looking them up on a
Tennessee map she was keeping handy. Read her post below and you can see just
a bit of the far-reaching influence and interest in your posts.

  Hi Wallace,

I've been trying to keep track of the ravens nesting at the race track. I
have not seen anything about babies since the race.
We had Ravens nesting on a radio tower a few years ago and another one
nesting on a fire tower. Maybe you should invite them to nest on your fire
tower.
