Steele Creek's woodland wetlands is one of Bristol Tennessee's best kept
secrets. I greatly enjoy going there to see the birds and enjoying the
 beauty.

Spring is the time of year
when I am always reminded
of a special saying my
birding buddy, Charlie Smith,
you to say from time to time:

"Coffey, just look beneath
your feet and don't worry
about what is up in the
trees. You will hear the
birds and know they are
there but you cannot hear
the wildflowers."

Trillium luteum
Yellow Trillium

 Let's go birding . . . .
