Greene Co., TN

I observed the following today in and around Greeneville, mostly near Tusculum:

PERMANENT RESIDENTS--

Wood Duck (4);
Sharp-shinned Hawk (Greeneville);

SUMMER RESIDENTS--

Yellow-billed Cuckoo (my latest date in Greene County by a week);
Tree Swallow;
Brown Thrasher;
Gray Catbird;
Indigo Bunting (6);

WINTER RESIDENTS--

Winter Wren;
Golden-crowned Kinglet (first this fall at lower elevation);
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (4);
Yellow-rumped Warbler (6);
Swamp Sparrow (8);
White-throated Sparrow (5);
White-crowned Sparrow (first observation this fall);

TRANSIENTS--

Palm Warbler (2).
