[Bristol-Birds] Whitetop Creek Park

On Tuesday, 11/25/08, Just before dark, Michele Sparks and I spent about twenty
minutes checking out the beaver pond at Whitetop Creek Park in Bristol, TN.
Michele spotted a beaver swimming across the pond. A kingfisher rattled and
then flew onto a nearby branch. A siskin called. A snipe called and flew over
the pond. I whistled a little and a gray morph sreech-owl responded. It called
a few times and then landed on an exposed branch providing us wonderful looks.
It was twenty minutes well spent.
