Brookie and Jean Potter just called me to report that they are watching an
almost pure white swallow flying with a flock of other swallows over the
Watauga River just upstream from the Bee Cliff Cabins on the road to the Wilbur
Dam. The bird is being seen in the vicinity of a church where there also is a
lot of construction equipment. Brookie said the bird does not seem to have the
forked tail of a Barn Swallow and appears larger than many of the swallows it
is flying with. Brookie's cell phone no. is 410-375-3679.
