Glen Eller and I heard Whip-poor-wills at 8:30 p.m. this evening not far off Lone Oak Rd near where Dry Creek Rd. begins. We hadn't expected that conditions were good--the sky was overcast with light rain intermittently. From what we were hearing, it appeared that at least two birds were calling.
