Twelve birders participated in the Elizabethton Bird Club's field trip to
western
Washington Co., TN, yesterday.
Highlights:
Cooper's Hawk - 1
Red-tailed Hawk - 18 + (saw one catch a vole)
Red-headed Woodpecker - pair of adults
Winter Wren - 2
Ruby-cr. Kinglet - 1
Hermit Thrush - 2
Cedar Waxwing - 15
Savannah Sparrow - 4
Swamp Sparrow - 4
White-crowned Sparrow - 6
Followed by a nice lunch at Mountan View Restaurant.

Meet at the Ingles parking lot in Jonesborough, on hwy 11-E, just west of town.
We will bird the fields & woods around Bowmantown & Limestone, etc.
Lunch at Mountain View restaurant on 11-E.
