Following Jeremy Stout's and Larry McDaniels' posts of the warblers at Steele Creek Park today, I drove up there later this afternoon. I had a pleasant hour (5:20-6:20 p.m.) of birding.
In addition to the usual geese and Mallards, I had the following species: Red-bellied Woodpecker Northern Flicker Eastern Phoebe Eastern Kingbird Blue Jay Carolina Chickadee Tufted Titmouse Tree Swallow House Wren Robin Starling Mockingbird Brown Thrasher Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Black-and-white Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Prairie Warbler Cerulean Warbler Chipping Sparrow Cardinal Goldfinch Roy Knispel Johnson City --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
