The trees over at East Tennessee State University seem to always have good
warbler waves in the fall. Combine that with giant windows in stairwells
inside some of the buildings and you have great views of theses waves.

Yesterday was another day like this around 4:30 in Johnson City,
TN.(Washington County). I was heading to the building where our offices are
(Campus Center Building) and notices there was a warbler wave in the trees
outside facing towards Yoakly Hall. I scurried back to my car grabbed my
binoculars and went up to the second floor in the stairwell. I was eye level
or looking down on the birds coming through the trees.

Tennessee Warbler 4-5
Magnolia Warbler 1
Cape May Warbler 2

Scarlet Tanager 1

Fun little wave - there were more birds than listed, by the time I got back
with my binoculars that was all I could find.
