I observed the following this evening in a short birding jaunt to western

American Black Duck (3 WMDC)
Mallard (318, mostly WMDC)
Northern Pintail (2 WMDC)
Green-winged Teal (41 WMDC)
Great Egret (WMDC)
Cooper's Hawk (2)
Virginia Rail (3 calling at dusk, WMDC, third pond)
American Coot (98 WMDC)
Wilson's Snipe (2 WMDC)
Bonaparte's Gull (2 Guinn Drive)
Marsh Wren (WMDC, third pond)
Swamp Sparrow (7 WMDC)
Red-winged Blackbird (200+ WMDC)
