[Bristol-Birds] Upper east TN birds, Oct 18-19

A little delayed on this post, but I had a few birds to note from a trip to 
upper east TN earlier this week.  

18 Oct 2011
Musick's Campground, Sullivan Co.,TN, with David Kirschke
Eared Grebes - 4, one was still in breeding plumage (a first for me)
Ring-necked Duck - 2
Osprey - 2

Meadowview Marsh, Kingsport, Sullivan Co., TN, with David Kirschke
Sora - at least 6 birds calling randomly (unsolicited) about 1 pm, when it was 
quite warm
Virginia Rail - 1 
Blue-winged Teal - 3


19 Oct 2011
Walmart Distribution Center, Greeneville, Greene Co., TN
Green-winged Teal - 4
Red-winged Blackbird - 1500-2000 birds roosting, with a few hundred starlings, 
in the reeds
Palm Warbler - 1 western palm
