The Rankin WMA has posted 800 additional acres of floodplain and highlands, from the flats across from the Nolichucky over to Ten Islands. Roads in the WMA have been graded and graveled. The road past the coal tower is much improved. Rankin Bottoms: (The grebes were diving across from the Leadvale boat ramp, undeterred by the fishing traffic.)
