Joe McGuiness called me about 20 minutes ago to ask me to report that he, Don
Holt, and Dianne Draper were observing two Tundra Swans with a flock of about
100 Canada Geese along State Hwy 81 south of the intersection where Hwy 107
splits off toward Greenville. They were in a cut cornfield on the NE side of
Hwy 81 about 1.8 miles north of the bridge across the Nolichucky River (between
where Bumpus Cove Rd. joins Hwy 81 and where Hwy 107 splits off toward
Greeneville.) There are several red farm buildings back of the cornfield.
