Had 6 Tree Swallows at Meadoview in Kingpsport yesterday (Feb 26). They were already investigating the bluebird boxes. Also had a number of male Red-winged Blackbirds starting to display and claim territories. Also Swamp Sparrows and an immature Cooper's Hawk. The Cooper's Hawk sat in the same spot for almost 2 hours. Did not get any rails or Marsh Wren, but had a single American Coot. Rick -- Rick Phillips Kingsport, Tennessee
