Area Birders, While doing the Cornell Feeder watch today I was surprised to find a Tree Sparrow hopping around under the feeder. The last time I had seen one here on Compton Mt was in January 2001. I grabbed my camera and took a few photos. You can see a couple of photos at http://users.mikrotec.com/mayhorn/BIMG/TreSparP.htm The Red-breasted Nuthatch that was here yesterday returned today to get added to the count, and the first Chipping Sparrow since back in the fall also made an appearance.
