[Bristol-Birds] Terns at SH Lake

Sullivan Co, TN and
Washington Co, VA
A flock of 35 Common Terns, discovered here just before 3:20 pm today by Rick
Knight, were still here at 6:27 pm as nightfall approached. They flew in a
group over much of this area without many feeding. They apparently left just a
couple of minutes ago without settling in. A slight breeze of about 10 to 12
mph is coming from the NE, causing small waves.
