I had the pleasure for the first time to see the Trumpeter Swan at the
Bristol Tennessee Sports Complex around noon today. What a beautiful and
graceful sight! Thanks to Rick Knight for finding the bird and sharing this
wonderful experience with us. There were several other birders present
including Glen Eller of Galax, Va.

On the way out I saw two Ravens. Later in the afternoon I spotted two Palm
Warblers at River's Way, which is about a mile up the South Holston River
from the Carrier Bridge (Hwy 44), Sullivan County.
