[Bristol-Birds] Sullivan Cty water areas

Today, Jim Anderson, Charles Moore, Debi Campbell, and I birded some water areas in Sullivan County. Here are highlights:

Paddle Creek:
Ring-necked Ducks                         6

Central Holston/Big springs Rd.
Wood Duck                                      2
Bufflehead                                      25
Hooded Merganser                          1
Bald Eagle imm, eating a nice trout that I would have been glad to have caught
Red-tailed Hawk                               1
Red-headed Woodpecker                1

Weir Dam

Rooty Branch Rd. beaver pond

Wigeon                                              2
Green-winged Teal                            6

Hwy 44
Red-tailed Hawk                                2

Musick's Campground
Common Loon                                  1
Pied-billed Grebe                             1

Bonaparte's Gull                              12

Davis Dock

In addition, we saw Great Blue Heron, Killdeer, Am. Kestrel, and Kingfishers at a number of locations.
