Today a single Redhead was spotted among many resident Mallards and
Canada Geese at Steele Creek Park Lake at about 5:30 pm.

I also spotted a Red-Breasted Nuthatch at the intersection of Lake Ridge
and Overlook Trails, and this is the first one I've seen this fall.
Last fall/winter Sam Cross pointed out to us that there were as many
Red's as there were White's, and it stayed that way until around April,
and this is the first I've seen since then.
