1 NOV 03
U.S. Post Office
W. Elk Ave.
Elizabethton, TN
and
Musick's Lakeside Campground
S. Holston Lake
near Bristol, TN
Sam Cross and I were inspired by Tom McNiel's previous post, listing 5 Vesper
Sparrows, to investigate the field behind the Elizabethton Post Office. Our
list was long with sparrows but the Vesper was a miss.
Song, Savannah, White-crowned, White-throated and Field Sparrows were seen
this morning around 10AM.
.
At Musick's we found, among others:
.
Ring-billed Gull 2
Common Loon 1
Green-winged Teal 2
Double-crested Cormorant
Caspian Tern 1 (TWRA Access Area)

'Til we bird again
