Area Birders,

A small adult Sharp-shinned, probably a male, has been making regular trips
through the yard within the last few days.
This morning he put the birds to flight from my feeders, then landed in the
cherry tree where the feeders hang. After sitting there for a few seconds he
made a dive into the large honeysuckle bush near the edge of the yard. I
lost him, but soon after I saw him sitting in the same shrub busily picking
the feathers from what looked like a White-throated Sparrow. He stayed there
for about half an hour until he had finished his meal.

Enjoy the birds,
Roger Mayhorn
