The 65th Roan Mtn CBC (not all consecutive, as a couple were weathered out) was
held
on Sunday, 17 Dec 2017 with 9 observers in 2 parties. Up to 4 inches of snow
blanketed
most of the area, but the roads were clear.
44 species were tallied, near the 30 year average of 46 (all-time high = 55
species in 1987).
