Bristol Birders,

Ed Talbott and Roger Mayhorn spent Tuesday birding Roan Mountain, TN. A
flock of Red Crossbills were the highlight of the day. Other high altitude
species included Pine Siskins, Dark-eyed Juncos, Common Ravens, and a
Canada Warbler. A stop at Sycamore Shoals revealed a couple Yellow-crowned
Night-Herons and a Louisiana Waterthrush. For those interested here is a
link to a trip write-up and pictures.
