[Bristol-Birds] Rare Washington County Geese Persist

I observed the Ross's Goose and six Greater White-fronted Geese feeding on
the golf course by the pro shop this afternoon. These geese were originally
reported on 31 DEC 2005 and then counted as firsts for both species on the
Bristol
Bird Club CBC 1 JAN 2006.

To get to Clear Creek Lake:

Take I-81 to VA exit 7. Turn to the Northwest off the ramp onto Old Airport
Road. Follow this road to Harleywood Road at which time you will see the golf
course sign on the left. Turn left onto this Harleywood Road and the next left
is the Pro Shop parking lot. This is the lot from which the geese have been
seen. I have stopped in to ask permission to bird.
