Bristol Area Birders,
My wife,Lynda, and I,Roger Mayhorn, participated Saturday in the Quarry Bog
Bird Watch with other members of of the Bristol Bird Club. As Wallace said
previously, it was great birding weather, and it was an enjoyable day,
sharing birding with such a nice group of birders.
Some of the birds observed were COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, SWAMP SPARROWS, SONG
SPARROWS, CEDAR WAXWINGS, RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS, MEADOWLARKS, BLUE JAYS,
NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD, PALM WARBLERS, EASTERN PHOEBE, EASTERN BLUEBIRD,
BLUE-WINGED TEAL (flushed by bird-dog, Janice Martin), COMMON RAVEN and
AMERICAN CROW.
Here are some photos I took of the event.
