[Bristol-Birds] Purple Finches

Area Birders,
Early in the day, as the snow began to fall here on our mountain top in
Buchanan County, two male Purple Finches materialized at the seed feeders.
They stayed around most of the day along with the female Red-bellied
Woodpecker, the 22 Cardinals, the White-breasted Nuthatches, the Carolina
Chickadees, the Dark-eyed Juncos and the dozens of House Finches and
Goldfinches. I took a photo of one of the Purple Finches as he sat on our
heated birdbath. Take a look.
